Speak Up! Help Shape the Future of Disability Services in Kentucky
SH
Need better disability services?
Already getting great support?
Kentucky wants your input.
The Human Development Institute (HDI) at the University of Kentucky is seeking valuable input from Kentuckians about the services and supports available for people with disabilities.
This feedback is crucial in developing the state’s next Olmstead Compliance Plan—a plan that will guide how Kentucky ensures that people with disabilities receive the supports they need in the most integrated setting possible.
The Supreme Court’s landmark Olmstead decision in 1999 recognized the value and dignity of all individuals, including those with disabilities.
This decision has a profound impact on the lives of Kentuckians with disabilities, and your input is essential to ensure that the state’s services reflect the needs and preferences of those they serve.

This is an incredible opportunity for you to share your real-life experiences and feedback.
